2D CAD Conversion

Do you have old paper drawings that you'd like to convert to electronic CAD files?

3Q CAD Services Inc offers 2D conversion services. We convert your existing paper copies into electronic CAD files. The paper copy drawings are 100% manually drafted into CAD to match the original sheets exactly. You may also choose to mark-out any unnecessary information on the sheets to be omitted during the CAD drafting process. Or you can add any mark-ups in the original paper drawings and we will incorporate your A&A (Additional and Alteration) design into new CAD drawings. All CAD files are drafted at full-scale, dimensionally accurate and 100% line connections with AIA layering (AIA Standards - American Institute of Architects) or a layering system of your choice.

We convert paper drawings to CAD files for most of the plans, for example:

We can also convert traditional paper & pencil drawings to 2D or 3D CAD drawings. Our capabilities include the ability to produce native CAD files that are compatible with most CAD systems.

These drawings can be produced in a number of different CAD file formats:

 DWG     DGN    DXF   

Most of our clients require DWG files. Our drawings would typically be AutoCAD Rel. 14 or AutoCAD 2000 files, depending upon customer requirements.
